At E&M, our team is composed of accomplished professionals with expertise in public health programs, community health strategies, data-informed decision-making, quality improvement, and patient safety. Drawing on over 20 years of experience driving health systems change in diverse settings, we bring a nuanced understanding of both global standards and local realities.

The team brings a unique blend of academic standing and scientific rigor, including alumni and affiliates of world-renowned institutions such as Yale. This combination reflects academic excellence, hands-on field experience, and cultural sensitivity.

Our experts have served as surveyors, consultants, and technical advisors to national governments, UN agencies, and international NGOs across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, and North America.

Dr. Kaveh Khoshnood, PhD, MPH
  • Dr. Kaveh Khoshnood is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the Yale School of Public Health. He is the Faculty Director and co-founder of the Yale Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL), which uses open-source intelligence and satellite imagery to document attacks on civilians and health care in conflict zones. His own research and teaching focus on the health of forcibly displaced populations, humanitarian crises, and global health ethics. Dr. Khoshnood has led and collaborated on numerous international projects addressing conflict, displacement, and health systems strengthening, and he is deeply committed to mentorship and capacity-building with students and global partners. He also serves on advisory boards and collaborates widely with organizations advancing humanitarian health and public health innovation.

Dr. Abinet M Aklilu, MD, MPH
  • Dr. Abinet M Aklilu, MD, MPH is a physician scientist board certified in internal medicine and nephrology currently working at Yale New Haven Hospital where she sees patients with kidney disease, hypertension and electrolyte discorders and conducts clinical trials focused on acute kidney injury. She has experience in pragmatic clinical trial designs and evaluation of clinical decision support tools. She is passionate about building practical solutions that improve patient care. With a background in medicine and clinical research, Abinet can help organizations translate complex data into actionable insights.

Mohd A Dar - Founder and CEO of E&M InfoGen

Mohd A Dar

Founder and CEO of E&M InfoGen

Bringing more than 15 years of experience in public health consulting, evaluation, and data-driven program design. He holds an MPH in Global Health from Yale University, an MBA in International Business, and is a graduate of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Global Tobacco Control Fellowship. Mohd has led national and international initiatives across the U.S., Asia, and Middle East, with expertise in program evaluation, opioid response and policies, global tobacco control, and community health. His professional journey includes leadership roles with both nonprofit organizations and government agencies, where he specialized in policy development, evaluation, and building strategic partnerships. Beyond his professional work, Mohd is passionate about cooking and creating new recipes, enjoys adventure activities, and actively plays sports including volleyball and cricket. His diverse interests reflect his belief in balance, creativity, and teamwork—values he brings to his leadership at E&M InfoGen.

Ehsan Abualanain - Public health, quality, and patient safety expert

Ehsan Abualanain

Public health, quality, and patient safety expert

with over 13 years of experience leading initiatives to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes across diverse settings. She has held senior leadership positions in hospitals, health systems, and international projects, where she successfully directed quality research, performance improvement, and patient safety programs at both facility and national levels. Ehsan has extensive experience providing strategic guidance and technical expertise to health systems in multiple countries across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Her work has focused on designing and implementing quality improvement frameworks, leading incident investigations, developing performance indicators, and building organizational capacity to achieve measurable, sustainable improvements in patient safety and care quality. As an educator and mentor, she has trained healthcare professionals through lectures, workshops, and diploma programs in quality management and patient safety. Her background combines technical depth with a proven ability to manage teams, build partnerships, and drive organizational change. Ehsan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a Master of Public Health from Yale School of Public Health. She also holds professional certifications including Master Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.
